"It's alright 'cus I'm saved by the bell"

Hello readers!

This week I’m taking us back to the 90’s (yes, again) because one of my guilty pleasure shows has been receiving a lot of attention recently.

Last week, on The Tonight Show, Jimmy Fallon reunited most of the cast of Saved By the Bell, and it got me thinking where in the world are those Bayside teenagers today?

Mark-Paul Gosselaar: aka Zack Morris - a classic teenage heartthrob, but I mean how could you not like him? Mark-Paul’s all grown up now, and no longer a blonde, with two kids. He stars in Franklin and Bash as attorney Peter Bash.

Tiffani-Amber Thiessen: aka Kelly Kapowski, the most popular girl at Bayside who we all knew would end up back on-again with Zack. Today, she has a daughter with husband Brady Smith and stars as Elizabeth Burke in White Collar.

Elizabeth Berkley: aka Jessie Spano - a feminist smart girl who was known to get ‘so excited’ (inside joke – you’ll have to watch the show to know what it means). Elizabeth is married to Greg Lauren and runs a non-profit for young girls called Ask Elizabeth.

Lark Voorhies: aka Lisa Turtle who was always very in to fashion and very much not in to Screech (although that didn’t stop him from trying!). Her biggest role since Saved by the Bell was in How High, which came out in 2001. She’s married with one child.

Dustin Diamond: aka Samuel ‘Screech’ Powers the adorable little nerd. In 2006, he directed and released his own sex tape, and in 2009, released a tell-all book about his Saved by the Bell costars. Last year, he was arrested for pulling out a knife in a bar fight.

Mario Lopez: aka A.C. Slater – the high school jock with a big heart. If you weren’t Team Zack in the 90’s, you were probably Team Slater. Today, Mario co-hosts Extra and has 2 kids with his wife Courtney Mazza.

And of course we can’t forget Dennis Haskins who played Principal Richard Belding. He had his dorky tendencies and always loved to laugh at his own jokes. In 2009, Dennis released his first music album called "Karaoke With Your Favorite Principal Dennis."

Anyways, for all of you fans (and secret fans) out there, here is the reunion from The Tonight Show. Hope you enjoy it, or at the very least, I hope it brings you a smile!

Thanks for reading!
